E-WALL
2nd Edition of the race reserved for Ebikes in parallel with the Gf Mtb. An exciting panoramic route of 38km with 1300m altitude difference and to determine the final classification there will be a surprise time trial along the route and the final position of arrival.
GRAN FONDO MTB REGULATIONS
The Alassixfun Asd sports club is organizing an amateur cycling race called the "Gran Fondo Muretto di Alassio MTB" on Sunday 19 March 2023, with start and finish in Alassio (SV).
PARTICIPATION
The event is reserved for cyclists and cyclists of both sexes, members of the FCI, and other sports promotion bodies adhering to the national cycling council and in compliance with the membership for the current year and for foreign cyclists in possession of an international card recognized by the UCI
The Organizing Committee may at any time and at its sole discretion decide whether or not to accept the registration, or to exclude a member from the event, if it could cause damage to the image of the same.
Doped exclusion:
Athletes who have been the subject of a final sentence issued by any body which provides for a disqualification of any duration for facts relating to doping practices suffered after 1 January 2011 are not allowed to participate; the Athlete who registers, aware of the infringement of this article, will be excluded from the competition and in the case of payment of sums, they will not be returned; the communication of exclusion may take place at any time and in any way by the organizing committee.

ROUTES
The Gran Fondo Muretto di Alassio MTB will take place on a 38 km route with a difference in altitude of 1300 m.
RACE PACKS
Each participant must present himself at Piazza Partigiani on Saturday from 15.30 to 19.30 and on Sunday from 7.00 to 9.30 for the verification of the cards and the collection of the number and race pack.
For sports groups, only the person in charge can present himself with the list of members drawn up on company letterhead with signature and attaching a copy of an identity document.
MEETING and DEPARTURE
The meeting is scheduled for Sunday 19 March from 7.30 in Piazza Partigiani from where there will be a free transfer to the starting/arrival point in Piazza Santa Croce, where you will access the starting grids which will open from 9.30 .. It is mandatory to respect the Highway Code

Cyclists will participate with a recognition number, but without any classification, score, time spent and individual awarding.
The TANDEM category will enter the ranking and will be awarded as a separate category.

RULES FOR THE ROUTE
Unauthorized cars and motorcycles are prohibited between the "START CYCLING RACE" and "END CYCLING RACE" relays.
Although it is a race with rankings and scores, it is an amateur event and takes place on roads open to traffic. Therefore the participants must keep to the right and respect the highway code. Although not contemplated, the FCI regulation applies.
The organization declines all responsibility before, during and after the event.
Those who do not complete the entire route, do not pass through the electronic checkpoints located along the routes managed by Winning Time and do not have the number clearly visible on the handlebars of the bicycle, will be excluded from the rankings.
It is mandatory to wear a helmet, under penalty of disqualification.
RANKINGS
For rankings and scores the FCI regulation is applied. The first three overall and the first five in each category will be awarded. The awards will take place in the finish area, starting at 15.00 in P.za Partigiani.
RESTAURANTS
They will be carried out by the organization's staff along the route.
CHIPS REGULATION
Timing service will be provided Winning Time.
For the year 2023, in all the races with Winning Time timing (managed by all Winning Time timing companies) it will be possible to use the yellow personal chip (see photo below), or the Nove Colli "Special Edition" chips that have been distributed in recent years. At the bottom of the page is the button to continue enabling the chip.
ALL OTHER CHIPS WILL NOT WORK.
The ENABLEMENT of the "Personal Chip" and the "Special Edition Nove Colli" Personal Chip also includes the services of the new Winning Trial App free of charge for the whole of 2022. (find out more)
ENABLING of the "Personal Chip and the Personal Chip "Special edition Nove Colli"" can be carried out:» in the race at the Chip Point at the price of Euro 15.00.» via the website www.winningtime.it by the Thursday before the competition weekend, at the price of Euro 15.00
Athletes who do not yet have a "Personal Chip" can purchase it directly at the Punto Chip located in the race pack delivery area at the price of Euro 20.00. It will be immediately enabled for the 2022 season.
Alternatively, it is possible to rent a Daily Chip valid EXCLUSIVELY for the event, upon payment of a deposit of Euro 10 with a refund of Euro 5 upon return. The return will be organized near the finish line thirty minutes after the arrival of the first competitor of the shortest route up to thirty minutes after the arrival of the last competitor of the event.IMPORTANT: The daily chip which will not be returned at the end of the race, can be returned in subsequent races, but Euro 2 will be refunded.
The Winning Time Personal Chip must be positioned on the seat post under the saddle using the special plastic support. WARNING: the timing service is NOT guaranteed for those who do not position the Chip correctly.
HEALTH CARE
Healthcare includes the presence of ambulances with doctors and healthcare personnel.
CHANGES TO THE REGULATION
The organization reserves the right to make any changes to these regulations.

RIGHTS AND DUTIES
Participants will have to clearly fix the number to be placed on the handlebar, provided by the organization, and be equipped with a chip, if they want to participate in the individual rankings. The numbers provided by the organization cannot be modified or altered in any way, under penalty of disqualification. It is mandatory to use the APPROVED hard helmet and fasten it correctly for the entire duration of the race and to respect the ROAD CODE.
Those who have not entered the GRID 10 (Ten) minutes before the start will automatically be placed in the last starting grid. It is advisable to carry a puncture repair kit with you when racing and to equip yourself with suitable clothing for changing weather conditions.
By signing the registration form, you declare that you are in possession of the medical certificate and the regular card for the performance of a valid sporting activity, and that you have read the present regulation, accepting it unconditionally in every point. The participant expresses his consent to the use of his images and his personal data, according to the provisions of the privacy law No. 675 of 12/31/1996

Piazza Partigiani Alassio Saturday 18/03 from h. 15 to h. 19 and Sunday 19/03 from 7.30 to 10.30.
Grouping h. 11 with transfer to Santa Croce where at h. 12 the race will officially start.
The race takes place on a route of 38 km and 1300 m of elevation gain to be completed up to the finish line; a long surprise timed stretch (7/9 km) will be placed along the route which will determine the final classification together with the position at the finish line.

At GF Muretto E-MTB only production assisted pedal bicycles and present in a catalog of any company are allowed. They can be modified by replacing various components (wheels, fork, brakes, etc.) with the exception of the frame, engine, battery and the entire electrical system, for which reference will be made to the company's official catalogue. Competitors are advised to always have a copy of the catalog to show if requested by the organization at the time of checks. • The admitted bicycles will however have to comply with the European Directive 2002/24/CE and, of which we report the definition.
The European Directive 2002/24/EC (article 1, point h) defines the pedal assisted bicycle as a bicycle equipped with an electric motor auxiliary to human pedaling and with the following characteristics: • 250 watt maximum motor • progressively reduced motor power and then cut off when reaching 25 km/h • power supply to the engine cut off before 25 km/h if the cyclist stops pedaling • push assistance is allowed (feet on the ground), which must not exceed 6 km/h • The original sensor must not be modified Vehicles that meet this directive are not required to be approved and are considered to all intents and purposes like traditional bicycles. Vehicles that do not simultaneously meet these requirements cannot be considered bicycles and must therefore be approved and registered .This directive was implemented in Italy with the decree of 31 January 2003 of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and is therefore in force
- The use of any modification, processing or application that in any way can cancel (even temporarily) the limitation of engine thrust beyond 25 km/h is prohibited. • In this regard, the organization reserves the right to set up checks at surprise that they will eventually be performed by specialized personnel throughout the course of the race and if irregularities are found, the competitor in question will be stopped and expelled from the race classification. • The bicycles admitted to the E-MTB race will only be able to use the supplied battery and the Athletes cannot bring a spare battery during the competitions. • It is forbidden to replace the engine, the battery and the wheels during the entire duration of the competition. • Punching marks: the organization will provide, during the card verification, a each competitor two adhesive countermarks, for the wheels and it will be the responsibility of each competitor to apply them to their bike (punching) and protect them in case of rain or mud. The countermark for the frame (which also acts as a roadmap with all the race times ) and that for the battery will be applied by the organization shortly before the starting procedure. • During the race, the Jury and the organization will verify the presence of the countermarks (punching) and the competitor who will not have all the countermarks correctly positioned or not will present himself to the check, he will be disqualified • The E-MTB must be in a perfect state of maintenance and efficiency. The Race Direction reserves the right to exclude from the competition competitors who do not respect this rule.

DESCRIPTION:
Departure from Piazzale Santa Croce, ascent to Mount Pisciavino (600 m high) along an asphalted road and a dirt road, a long descent on a single track to the hamlet of Marta, from the cemetery of Marta a new single track and dirt road until you reach the riverside, crossing the medieval village of bossoleto, ascent via the inter-farm dirt road up to the provincial road 55, ascent towards the sanctuary of the Madonna della Guardia with single track, from inside the sanctuary you reach the top of Mount Pisciavino again from which a long descent starts in single track up to upon arrival.
